I never planned to become a bookkeeper. I spent years in event management and fundraising, juggling budgets, targets and client relationships. Then my husband started his own business, and I found myself at the kitchen table trying to make sense of his books. Somewhere between the spreadsheets and the late nights, I realised I had a knack for it.

Five years on, I’m an AAT member (AATQB) and licensed bookkeeper, helping service-based businesses get on top of their numbers. When I’m not working, I’m running the AAT Mums community supporting other career-changing Mums navigate studying around parenthood, Mum to two daughters and championing accountancy training as an AAT Advocate.
